Journalists visiting Sydney from Indonesia are writing stories for their various publications. Destination NSW asked us to organise a couple of Harleys and a sidecar to show them the sights of Sydney. Our riders were happy to take them over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, around the Botanical Gardens and past Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. Through Woolloomooloo and infamous Kings Cross to the Eastern suburbs and dropping off at Bondi. They saw a great deal and loved every second of the experience.

Her World magazine – “We have an upcoming media visit from Indonesia’s ‘Her World magazine’ that we are wanting to do a trike tour for”. “Yes” we said, “we can organise a trike ride which will impress the reporter with Sydney (and obviously Troll Tours)”  🙂 . As a bit of a background – Her World Indonesia is a premium magazine distributed to an audience of 95,000 and is doing a destination feature on Sydney.

So we took the reporter and her guide on the tour and as you can see from the photo, she absolutely loved it. She thought Troll was kinda cool as well.

Touring around Palm Beach, Sydney was something they’d always wanted to do. Melissa’s mother gave them a gift voucher for their wedding anniversary and they decided to use it today. Jungle and Pat picked them up at Manly, drove them past some of the beautiful northern beaches of Sydney. They got up to Palm Beach, where Home And Away is filmed and enjoyed the wonderful scenery before heading back to Manly via Narrabeen. A lovely day for a fun experience.

For their anniversary weekend, our passengers decided to come to Sydney for a long weekend. To have a break from life in Queensland. A few days before they arrived they booked a trike ride with us as they wanted to experience something different and fun. Fox took them on the Eastern Panorama tour which includes the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Royal Botanical Gardens and out to the Eastern Suburbs: Rose Bay, Bondi etc. They had a lot of fun and saw so much of beautiful Sydney.

Where is the Home and Away TV Show filmed? Palm Beach north of Sydney of course. 🙂
Troll drove our three passengers around the area and showed them the beautiful scenery and where the filming was done.

It was also a rouse, an excuse to get Katie out of the house while a surprise party was being organised. Ian had booked a ride with us back in 2013 and thought it was great fun. Thinking ‘outside the square’, he thought it was a great way to keep Katie from expecting a thing today. She didn’t suspect a thing so really enjoyed the whole trike experience.

Bobbin Head in the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park was a great place for our Harley rider to meet Steven. He drove down from the Central Coast to do this Harley ride, it was a gift for his 50th birthday. Ian drove him around the National Park, with the beautiful water views. It’s not a well known area of Sydney but it’s well worth visiting for a picnic, do some fishing or take a Harley or trike ride around the route. https://www.trolltours.com.au/product/design-your-own-ride/

A wedding anniversary is certainly worth a celebration! Our passengers are from Qld and came to Sydney to celebrate that special occasion and to watch the VIVID Light Festival. VIVID starts tonight but they thought they’d have a bit of fun with Troll Tours before then. They loved the trike ride experience, loved the Sydney Harbour Bridge, loved it all!

Centennial Park is a beautiful area of Sydney especially when riding around it on the Harley trike. Troll drove senior people with disabilities around the park for a few hours. One lady who went around twice had such a huge smile and the carers said it’s the first time they have seen her smile in 6 months. All the other passengers loved the whole trike ride experience as well. We have done it for them a few times already over the years and they love it so much they will keep coming back. We are so pleased to be able help them with an experience they love.

Our passengers were Mother and Son Indian tourists from Mumbai, out here for the ATE17 (Australian Tourism Exchange). Well, actually their dad and husband was and they came along to see Sydney. Dad/husband didn’t want them to be bored while he was at the ATE17 so he organised a Harley ride for them. They loved it. Jungle and Barnsey took them on the Harleys around Centennial Park, Bronte, Tamarama, Bondi, Rose Bay, Double Bay, Kings Cross, Woolloomooloo and finished at the Sydney Opera House. Both passengers and riders had a great time they all said.

This Chinese Tour Group – ATE Group, China – wanted to have some fun looking around Sydney. The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) is Australia’s largest annual travel and tourism business-to-business event and it gave us the opportunity to get together. We took them on a tour of Sydney and they had such a fun time. They will be back for more!
