scenic Sydney Harley ride

Chinese Group 02.03.19 – scenic Sydney Harley ride

A scenic Sydney Harley ride was organised for our group. We took them for a ride around some of the best Sydney sights. We picked them up at from Darling Harbour and rode over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is such an iconic Sydney structure and looks so good from the back of a Harley. There is nothing to block the view.

A scenic Sydney Harley ride around Kirribilli

They stopped at Kirribilli for photos and look at the view across Sydney Harbour to the Sydney Opera House. It is stunning on a beautiful day. Next they did the Kirribilli Loop. This takes you under the north end of the Harbour Bridge. It is good to see it from a different perspective.

The Domain precinct

They travelled back over the bridge to the Domain precinct. This took them along the east edge of the Royal Botanical Gardens. The view of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge is fabulous from here. Then they rode past Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and past the Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool.

Our riders took them back to Darling Harbour so they could continue to explore. The scenic Sydney Harley ride was such a fun ride and showed some of the famous sights.

Kirribilli is one of Sydney’s most established and affluent neighbourhoods. It is located three kilometres north of the Sydney CBD. Kirribilli House is one of the two official residences of the Prime Minister of Australia.

Some history about the suburb: the name Kirribilli is derived from an Aboriginal word Kiarabilli, which means ‘good fishing spot’.

As we mentioned, for instance, we love riding over the heritage-listed steel Sydney Harbour Bridge. In particular we love it because it carries Harleys and trikes and gives us such a great view. As a result, our passengers love it as much as we do. The bridge is nicknamed “The Coathanger” because of its arch-based design.
