Hear the roar of the Chopper 4 trike or the Harley Davidson motorbike engines with a trip around Sydney city.
The ride takes you from your hotel or any pick up point through the city. We ride through the Royal Botanical Gardens which has beautiful views looking west towards the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We ride past Mrs Macquarie’s Chair. Mrs Macquarie’s Chair is an exposed sandstone rock cut into the shape of a bench, on a peninsula in Sydney Harbour. It was hand carved by convicts in 1810, for Elizabeth Macquarie, the wife of Major-General Lachlan Macquarie, Governor of NSW.
We continue to ride on through Woolloomoolloo and past the famous Harry Cafe De Wheels. Next we ride through the infamous Kings Cross, though it has calmed down a lot since it’s heyday. We continue riding through the eastern suburbs of Sydney, including the Bays: Rose Bay, Double Bay and Rushcutters Bay. Next the riders usually stop at Bondi Beach for photos and so our passengers can have a proper look at the beach.
If there is time we drive through Centennial Park. Originally a swamp and then set aside as land for the water source for Sydney, Centennial Park was reconstructed as a public park and opened in 1888. We then continue to your drop off point which can be different to your pick up point if you want to keep exploring.
Summary: From your pick up point, travel through Sydney. Ride through the Royal National Park, through Woolloomoolloo and Kings Cross to Bondi Beach. If there is time we include Centennial Park.
