Harley tour north shore

Raymond decided to do a Harley tour north shore with us. He is from England in Australia for holidays. He is staying in Sydney for only a couple of days so decided to have some fun. Then he will be flying to Tweed Heads to meet up with family.

Phil picked him up at Circular Quay. The rod over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Kirribilli. The views are beautiful over Sydney Harbour to the Opera House and the city. Also, the view of the Harbour Bridge is wonderful, showing a different perspective.

Harley tour north shore does the Kirribilli Loop

They continued on and did the Kirribilli Loop. This takes us under the north side of the Harbour Bridge, past the road that leads into Luna Park and past the North Sydney Olympic Pool. Next stop was Bradleys Head. To get there we ride past Taronga Zoo, sometimes you can see the koalas feeding or sleeping in their trees.

They rode on to the lovely and quite famous Balmoral Beach. You need to have plenty of money to buy here. There are lovely swimming beaches and cafes along the foreshore. They then turned around and headed back over the Harbour Bridge and back to Circular Quay for drop off.

The Harley tour north shore is a great one to see the close parts of Sydney Harbour from the north side.

Balmoral

is made up of beautiful houses and expensive yachts. The beach is postioned with views over Sydney Harbour National Park and through “the Heads” – the gateway to Sydney Harbour.

Head to the northern tip of the beach where you’ll find a small, shady park behind an old club building. From here, a short walk through the streets or around the rocks will take you to Chinamans Beach.

It does have an enclosed swimming area. Next to the boatshed are the swimming baths, enclosed by shark nets and a wide boardwalk.

The naval depot HMAS Penguin is situated at the eastern end of Balmoral Beach. It houses a naval hospital.
